FooMTB hits the Trails - The place where things happen!
FooMTB is organized around a structure that focuses on the various Land Agencies and the Trails that they support. We promote all activities associated with Trail Development and Maintenance. Many of the projects listed below are not "FooMTB Initiated" but are promoted to improve their effectiveness. Our Motto is: "We're not here to steal anyone's thunder, but to make that thunder louder. Together we can all shine brighter."
With any Trail building activity, please protect and take care of yourself! Consider the activity you are undertaking and the conditions that exist. Wear comfortable clothing, sturdy shoes, a hat, sunglasses and gloves. Bring sunblock, plenty of water and a light lunch or snack.
Albuquerque Open Space
FooMTB Trail Partners is proud of the long established relationship we have had with the Albuquerque Open Space. We support the Adoptive Trail Program and additional Projects that they undertake.

We will be promoting Trail Building Sessions on the Continental Divide Trail in accordance with the objectives of IMBA to support the establishment of this trail where possible. You can find out more about this trail at the CDT Page. Here are some sessions we will be involved in.
Summer Session is being planned - Cumbres Pass Trail 813 (CDT).
We have established a relationship with Rob Santoro who is a Recreational Specialist with the Rio Grande National Forest and also represents the Volunteers for Outdoors Colorado.. We have completed the preliminary survey of the lower section of the Trail 813 and mapped the old route.
We have also cleared about 6 miles of a newer "Official Route". You can now ride a beautiful 12 mile out and back, with a spur route up into an expansive Meadow at around 11,000'. Please consider joining us for the Sessions to the Cumbres Pass in Southern Colorado.
