May 30th, 2009 was the first day of work on the South Knob Switchbacks. We hope to work through the Summer and have the Trail ready by Aug. 29th. Check out our progress at these photo Albums.

FooMTB work on Tr. 179 in SFNF
FooMTB regularly performs work on trails, and this shows some fo the crew clearing the fallen trees on Tr. 179, a key connector between Rio en Medio and Nambe Creek trail in he Santa Fe N.F. |
A little bit of volunteer effort goes a long way in keeping trails like this one usuable. We will continue our efforts, but what about yours? :-) |

FooMTB Adopts a Trail

Jim, Chris and Erik met with Jim Sattler of Open Space to walk the segment of
trail 365 that FooMTB will be adopting.
Our adoption agreement includes the obligation to patrol and monitor the trail as well as hold an annual trail maintenance project. Trail building training will be coming soon. |

Taos Ride
FooMTB Ride in August 2005 |
Taos is always a great place to ride. This time, we split into an A and B group. The A ride did both the North and South Boundary trails. The B ride rode Elliott Barker and South Boundary. Celebration at Eske's to end a great day of riding!! |

Santa Fe Riding
Santa Fe is FooMTB staple, as we ride there quite a bit during the riding season. Here are some shots from a recent ride. |
Trails covered on this ride included Santa Fe River Trail, Atalaya (South) Trail, Atalaya Dorothy Stewart, Dale Ball South Netwrok, Dale Ball Center Network, Dale Ball North Netwrok, Chamisa Trail, Sidewinder, and Little Tesuque Trails. |

Franklins & Redd Road in El Paso, TX
A southern NM (and West Texas) favorite! Thanks to our BMBA, we were able to hook up with some great local riders! |
The Redd Road Trails in El Paso are legendary, and right near the entrance to Franklin Mountain State Park. We strung together a 30+ mile ride - starting out with a big group that did get smaller as the day went on. :-) |
